We use a number of different data providers.
Wikidata is a repository of structured data that can be accessed and improved by anyone. It could be considered a machine-readable form of Wikipedia, and more and more information on Wikipedia is actually being sourced from Wikidata.
Wikidata is where we source most of our data from, and we are constantly contributing improvements to make Wikidata better for everyone. If you find a incorrect or missing piece of data in our API, a great way to fix it is by contributing directly to Wikidata. For more information, visit the help section on Wikidata.
Alternatively, you can contact us and we will take take of making the appropriate edits. Note that changes on Wikidata only appear in Everbase after a certain delay.
Our exchange rates are sourced from the European Central Bank and are updated once per day.
